Applicable to Technology department only

Rewards

  • Successful referrals will be eligible for an $1000 (gross) reward, conditional on the referred candidate successfully completing 3 months continuous employment with TWG
  • Reward payments are subject to IRD tax deductions

How do I refer someone?

All referrals must be made via the SmartRecruiters application tracking portal. Instructions on how to make referrals through this portal are attached.

Who can refer someone?

The Team Member referral scheme is available to all IS TWG Team Members with the following exceptions:
  • TWG Recruitment & Employment Brand team members
  • The Technology Lead Team
  • Any people manager in the Technology Team where the referred candidate is in that managers direct or indirect reporting line
  • GET Members 

What else do I need to know

  1. The Team Member making the referral must be able to demonstrate a material relationship with the candidate they are referring.
  2. Referral awards are only payable on full time or part time permanent roles. No awards will be payable for temps/casuals/contractors.
  3. Referral rewards are payable upon the referred candidate successfully completing 3 months continuous employment with The Warehouse Group.
  4. Both the Team Member referring the candidate, and the candidate being referred must be employed by The Warehouse Group or any subsidiary at the time the award is due.
  5. The referral scheme applies only to candidates referred to current, open vacancies in the Technology team (ie falling under the remit of the Chief Information & Digital Officer), located in SSO, Torpedo7 Technology offices in Hamilton and NLG Technology offices in Christchurch.
  6. In the case of any disputes, The Chief Information and Digital Officer will be the final adjudicator on whether a reward is payable.

How do I claim my referral reward?

When your referral starts, complete the attached referral claim form, get the relevant approvals and signatures then scan and send a copy to suji.boomgaard@thewarehouse.co.nz
The payroll team will hold on to the form until the candidate has reached their 3 month anniversary, and as long as all of the conditions are satisfied your reward will be paid in the following payroll run.
