- Welcome back is an
opportunity for you to meet with a manager when you return to work after a
period of absence.
- This gives TWL the
opportunity to welcome you back to work and update you on anything that happened
whilst you were away.
- It also gives you the
opportunity to discuss any ongoing issues in relation to your absence.
- It’s also important that you
understand the policies, rules and ethical standards of The Warehouse.
Managers
The process ensures that all team
members are met with by their line manager on their return to work from a period
of unplanned absence, this gives TWL the opportunity to welcome back to work
those team members and update them on what has happened whilst they were away
and assist with working as one team.
It also provides an opportunity to
ensure that the team member is fit to return to work and complete their usual
duties and an opportunity for the team member to notify TWL of an ongoing issues
relating to absence. Having Welcome Back conversations will help TWL support
team members attendance at work.

take to effectively manage attendance.
To involve People Support as soon as an
absence situation develops into a performance
issue.
