Background

Every day, people talk about our brands on social media – we're listening to the chatter and joining in too. We want our team to be ambassadors for our brands and to be part of the conversation, so keep these guidelines in mind when you're using social media (eg: Facebook, Twitter) or our online workplace tools (eg: Yammer or any team closed Facebook group).

Purpose

To enhance the effective use of online communication channels (including social media forums) to support the company business objectives by setting out the acceptable use of these forums.
To reduce the potential misuse and abuse of online media (including social media sites) for non-business purposes or other inappropriate use
To reduce any potential financial or reputational risk to The Warehouse resulting from inappropriate online media use.
